Mickeys Christmas Carol Set of 2

Mickey's Christmas Carol Dept. 56 Disney Parks Village set of 2, item 53503. Introduced in 1994 and retired in 1996. Mint condition piece in original box & sleeve. Gold spires at the tops of the roof peaks, turret peaks and roof dormers. This 1st version was created only for a short time because it had two more spires located at the bottom left and right of the two front dormers and is not seen in this picture. These 4 additional spires caused this 1st version to be called the 10 point version since the 2nd version has a total of 6 points on the peak, turrets, and dormers. This 2 piece set is reminiscent of the Disney Theme Park Fantasyland Castle. Gold trim and blue roof along with multiple turrets and gables make this a very distinctive building. This special version with the bottom stamp (not pictured) was sold only in the Disney Theme Parks.
